Discovery of the Grounds

Surrounded by 230ha grounds, the Domaine de Candé offers an exceptional setting in which to relax or rejuvenate.

Discovery of the organic vegetable garden.

Set off as a family to discover the fruits and vegetables of the season by strolling through the Domaine de Candé’s vegetable garden. To take full advantage of the garden, armchairs and deckchairs are available for visitors in the vegetable garden, which is freely accessible during the grounds’ opening hours.

Nature and creative workshops are offered for young members of the public.

Interpretation Tour in the orchard of heirloom varieties. 

The Conservatory Orchard, maintained by the "Croqueurs de Pommes de Touraine" Association, allows you to discover many heirloom varieties of apples, pears, Common Medlar trees, fig trees and almond trees, guided by interpretation panels.

They allow you to discover the Estate with its ponds, forest and the diversity of its flora which has earned it the status of a sensitive natural area, as well as the small built heritage that marks it out, such as the Old Forge, the Wash House, and others.

Heritage Playgrounds

The grounds with its century-old trees is lined with numerous playgrounds inspired by the history of the Estate. Unique creations, between works of art and play areas, such as the Dragon's Breath, the Great Unusual Ride, the Great Oak Longhorn Beetle, Drake the Dragon, as well as the curious combined massages and the magnificent Huts on Stilts to delight the little ones. 

Picnic areas, deck chairs and cocoons hanging in the trees are available.
