This is the main banquet hall of the castle, named after the red Touraine silk adorning its walls. You will find beautiful “linenfold” oak panelling on the lower part of the room. The coffered ceiling is of the Tudor style, which was very popular in England during the 16th century.
A superb full neo-Renaissance fireplace completes the setting. Take note of the beautiful medallion commemorating the arrival of Louis XII and Anne of Brittany in the city of Lyon, above the fireplace.
