Picnic areas are available to visitors to the Estate. Outside of the events, picnics are allowed on the Estate lawns; only the lawn in front of the Castle (Esplanade) is forbidden.
Several heritage playgrounds are accessible free of charge on the Estate. Children are to remain under the responsibility of their adult supervisors.
The use of outdoor games is permitted as long as the safety and tranquility of the areas are respected. The lawn in front of the Castle (Esplanade) is however forbidden.
The Orangery Store offers cold and hot drinks for sale as well as cookies and ice cream. However, sandwiches and take-away meals are not sold. The shops of the town of Monts can be reached within 5 minutes by car.
Pets are allowed in the grounds only if they are kept on a leash. They are not allowed in the Castle.
In total, the tour route has 129 steps, spread over several floors and an entrance porch. Seating and stair ramps are available along the way for your convenience.
The tickets sold on the internet give access for a Castle visit except for specific events and shows. They are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Flying over the Domaine de Candé with a drone is strictly forbidden without permission. The request for special permission must be made to the CEA and the Indre-et-Loire Prefecture.
